Portland — The Department of Homeland Security under the leadership of the Obama appointed Janet Napolitano, has issued a profile of “right wing extremists”. Strangely, this report coincides with the tax demonstrations known as “Tea Parties” scheduled throughout America on April 15th. Perhaps a bit of government intimidation to try to keep the ranks thinned at these lawful gatherings?

A few weeks ago, a report compiled by the Missouri state police and in conjunction with the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) warned of what to look for when in the hunt for “Right Wing Extremists” (RWE). ..

"Police were instructed to look for Americans who were concerned about unemployment, taxes, illegal immigration, gangs, border security, abortion, high costs of living, gun restrictions, FEMA, the IRS, The Federal Reserve, and the North American Union/SPP/North American Community. The 'Missouri Documents' also said potential domestic terrorists might like gun shows, short wave radios, combat movies, movies with white male heroes, Tom Clancey Novels, and Presidential Candidates Ron Paul, Bob Barr, and Chuck Baldwin….”- http://wnd.com/index.php?fa=PAGE.view&pageId=93067

Now, that same DHS has decided to issue a warning for the Feds so they can profile and stereo-type potential threats to the federal government…

“The nine-page document was sent to police and sheriff's departments across the United States on April 7 under the headline, "Rightwing Extremism: Current Economic and Political Climate Fueling Resurgence in Radicalization and Recruitment."

It says the federal government "will be working with its state and local partners over the next several months" to gather information on "rightwing extremist activity in the United States."- http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2009/apr/14/federal-agency-warns-of-radicals-on-right/

The biggest threat apparently is returning military personnel. Janet Napolitano who heads DHS and was appointed by Obama is responsible for the report.

Imagine the outcry from the left if Bush had put out a list profiling left wing extremists (LWE). Perhaps it would read something like this…

If you think dumping water on the head of women beating, homophobic religious fanatics who saw the heads off innocent people with giant serrated knives and blow up buses filled with school children is torture BUT sucking the brains out of partially born babies is a woman’s right to choose, you might be a left wing extremist (LWE).

If you think a minister saying God Damn America is his freedom of speech BUT a minister blessing graduates at a graduation is a violation of the Constitution, you might be a LWE.

If you think dropping the atomic bombs on Japan, an act that even the Japanese emperor said saved millions of lives on both sides of the conflict, was terrorism BUT the terrorists who killed thousands of innocent Americans on 9-11 were justified because America is greedy, you might be a LWE.

If you still have a Kerry/Edwards bumper sticker on your car, you might be a LWE.

If you think kids should be taught trees have souls in elementary school, you might be a LWE.

If you think Americans can’t build a fence across the southern border to keep out illegals BUT can change the entire world climate by using hairspray, you might be a LWE.

If you wear petiole, Birkenstocks, tie-died t-shirts, anything with a peace sign, straw hats, old army jackets, and are adverse to perfume, deodorant, and nail polish, you might be a LWE.

If you think throwing a piece of paper on the ground in a crime against humanity as well as tragically unsanitary BUT want laws passed to make everyone use reusable butt wipes because they are great for the environment, you might be a LWE.

If you drive a car spewing black exhaust BUT have “save the whales” bumper sticker, you might be a LWE.

If you think raising taxes and then having the government spend your tax dollars to study the mating habits of rats is wonderful BUT letting Americans keep their money to pay their bills is greedy, you might be a LWE.

If you think that a president getting a little in the oval office from a teenaged employee is a personal matter BUT grabbing a woman’s ass in an elevator is sexual harassment and reason for dismissal from public office, you might be a LWE.

You might be a left wing extremist if you think every member of Obama’s cabinet who “forgot” to pay taxes made an honest mistake and every executive who took a legal, contractually obligated bonus that the democrat congress passed legislation to confiscate, is greedy.

You might be a left wing extremist if you support the federal government sponsoring art that includes upside down crucifixes in jars of urine but believe a manger in the city park is unconstitutional.

The list could go on and on. Feel free to add to it and they will surely be passed on.

I think it is very funny to see the Right winged fools wishing to construct the questions and answers for any test which might occur in their "common sense" approach to resolving things. The ardent support of such idiots as S. Palin and Texas Gov. Perry show us all what republicans really think. The 'do-nothing' party has problems but still wish to believe that their issues are do to some other group. As usual, the Tea Parties didn't even have a percentage point of the population to show up to the events and by the way- many of the organizers failed to get the required local permits for their planned actions. So much for being legal. Example #1- a city of approx. 40,000 people had only 250 persons at the Maine State Pier on Weds. and most of them don't even live in Portland. Great job!
