Portland — A response to my blog titled “OBAMA RECRUITS MUSLIMS AND POLICE PROFILE FREE THOUGHTSþ” evoked three memorable responses from three liberal friends…

-“good. So this is reverse profiling, an attempt to balance the ignorance of the past 500 years? have at it boys and I have to say, if you're looking for fertile grounds for redressing the imbalance, you couldn't find a finer place to start than Maine, a place where intolerance and anti-intellectualism are community values”

-“don't feel to bad sam they have been recruiting radical christians and jews for a long time, and we survived.”

And finally this…

-“ Where do you get this stupid sh_ _?”

Do you see what I am working against?

This morning the big news is the firing by our president of the CEO of General Motors. The reason given in the news article for the president’s actions are said to be this…

“…the GM chief (Wagoner) was tied more directly to the ill-fated decisions that that brought much of the American auto industry to the brink of collapse. Wagoner joined GM in 1977, has had a senior role in GM management since 1992, and became CEO of the company in 2000. He is considered responsible for increasing GM's focus on trucks and SUVs—at the expense of the hybrids and fuel efficient cars that have become more popular in the last couple of years.”- http://www.politico.com/news/stories/0309/20625.html

Listening to the radio this morning, a local news and talk station, the liberal half of the team spewed the same nonsense about the CEO’s firing saying GM was spending too much time on SUV’s and pick-ups and not enough time making small cars that American’s want. There is a huge problem with this, IT IS A LIE!

According to auto-yahoo.com….

“The F-150 (a pick-up truck) attracted 473,933 buyers this year, making it the No. 1-selling vehicle for 2008--it's been the best-selling vehicle in America for 27 years running. Another 431,725 buyers drove off Chevrolet lots in a Silverado (also a pick-up truck).”

These are more media lies that take a little research to correct for the “superficially informed”.

Since Obama has taken our money and given it to GM and now is the de facto CEO of GM buy way of his controlling authority of the auto-maker, does that not mean he should resign as president if GM keeps losing money? He has kept thousands of Union workers employed with tax payer funds and instead of doing the right thing and letting GM fail and he now has a scape-goat in Wagoner. Should Obama get fired if America keeps losing money?

We all need to pay attention.

Wagoner, actually gave up his position voluntarily; so your de-facto facts are inaccurate. As usual. By the way, did I win the terrorist naming contest? Cheney was a great pick!
