Portland — Since the hiring of a new President occurred, many have been complaining about alot of things; but those of the complaining "ilk" have little to complain about. Since the 1970's conservatives have controlled the spending in Washington and to the american citizen gain has never really happened with regards to cutting spending. As with the investors in Wall streeet scam artists, conservatives want the status quo to continue. The ideas of corporate welfare, Pac money, over burdened defense contracts and lobbying group Heads being paid more then everyday workers is the mantra of the right wing conservatives. Much like the fuedal syatem of western Europe many years ago; the true meaning of greed runs certain persons to truely believe that the have's should always be in control of the have not's: and that the principals of capitalism are in fact the same ideals which hold both religious and political thought in good company. The talk of radio magnets seems to be of further importance then actual practical efforts made in constructive persuits. Look at the history of republican leadership, in all aspects of tried works; the conservatives have been failures. As a new century begins, a new look at what truely is important will be coming to the forefront. And this 'new' way of thinking and doing will be celebrated by all common folk, from all countries and creeds. Ideas, which are thought of as democratic in nature, such as opportunity and freedom; will in fact be ridiculed by the right winged minded. The party of No is truely going to eat itself alive, good riddens.
